PROPOSAL TO AMEND TITLE 17 OF THE CITY’S MUNICIPAL CODE
CLARIFYING THE NEIGHBORHOOD COMPATIBILITY TRIGGERS AND
ESTABLISHING SPECIFIC EXEMPTIONS TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD
COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENT. (This ordinance was INTRODUCED at the

4. Slurry Seal of Palos Verdes Drive East – Inspection Services. (Dragoo)
Recommendation:(1)
Award a contract to HY-Com and Associates, Inc., for

Construction Inspection services in an amount not to exceed $12,000; and,
Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract with HY-Com and
Associates, Inc.
5. Longhill Drive and Flaming Arrow Drive – Multiway Stop Controls. (Dragoo)
Recommendation:(1)
Establish three-way stop controls at the intersection of
Longhill Drive and Flaming Arrow Drive, and install Stop Ahead warning signs
and pavement markings for motorists on Longhill Drive in advance of its

intersection with Flaming Arrow Drive; and, ADOPT RESOL. NO. 2004- , A
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES ESTABLISHING THREE-WAY STOP CONTROLS AT THE

10. Vacation of Portion of City Right-of-Way along east side of Crenshaw Blvd.

Approve the request to formally initiate the vacation of that
portion of City right-of-way along the east side of Crenshaw Blvd. and along the
south side of Crest Road (between the back of the existing sidewalk and St. John

Fisher Church’s property line) and; Direct staff to continue to work with the
Reverend Monsignor Sork and his Architect/Engineer throughout the vacation
process.
11. Traffic Safety Commission. (Evans)

Consider disestablishing the existing Traffic Committee and
establishing a Traffic Safety Commission under a new Charter.
