Household Hazardous Waste/ Electronics Waste Round-Up Siting Liability Agreement with Los Angeles County. (Ramezani) Recommendation: Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the proposed Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Waste Collection Program Siting Liability Agreement with the County of Los Angeles and County Sanitation District No. 2 of Los Angeles County. 6. City Hall Elevator Construction. (Allison) Recommendation:(1) Reject all bids received on March 8, 2004 for the (2) construction of an elevator at City Hall; and, Request staff to revise the project plans and re-advertise the project. 7. Ocean Trails – One-year extension of Vesting Tentative Tract Map No. 50666. Residential solid waste and recycling rate adjustments For Waste (5min) Management of Los Angeles For FY 04-05. (Ramezani) Recommendation: (1) Approve the maximum rate that Waste Management of Los Angeles can charge single-family customers in FY (2) 04-05; Approve the maximum rate that Waste Management of Los (3) Angeles can charge multi-family customers in FY 04-05; Increase the amount of collector fee paid by Waste Management Of Los Angeles to the (4) City By $8,880 to reflect the rate increases; and, Issue a one-time credit to customers totaling approximately $41,965 (or about $3.42 per household) from the City's Waste Reduction Fund. (This is to offset 50% of the rate increase as a "thank you" to customers for the City Meeting the State's 50% Diversion Mandate.) 12. Residential Solid Waste And Recycling Rate Adjustments For Universal (5min) Waste Systems, Inc. Dba Ivy Rubbish Disposal For FY 04-05. (Ramezani) Recommendation(1) : Approve the maximum rate that Universal Waste Systems, Inc., dba Ivy Rubbish Disposal, can charge residential (2) customers for FY 04-05; Increase the amount of Collector Fee paid by Universal Waste Systems, Inc., dba, Ivy Rubbish Disposal, to the City by (3) $370 to reflect the rate increase; Issue a one-time credit to customers totaling approximately $3,390 (or about $8 per household) from the City's Waste Reduction fund. (This is to offset 50% of the rate increase as a "thank you" to customers for the City meeting the State's 50% diversion (4) mandate.); and, Approve increasing the Senior Citizen discount from the current 5% to 10%. 13. Code Amendment (Planning Case No. ZON2004-00142): Landslide (15min) Moratorium Exception Clarification and Revisions.
