REGULAR NEW BUSINESS: 3.Rancho PalosVerdes California Coastal Trail Project (Mihranian/Motahari) (30 mins) Recommendation: 1) Receive a background report and presentation on the City’s segment of the California Coastal Trail; 2) Award contract to Alta Planning and Design to provide plans, specifications and cost estimate for the Rancho Palos Verdes segment of California Coastal Trail Improvements in an amount not to exceed $75,045 and authorize staff to spend up to a maximum of $11,257 (15% allowance) for possible additional design work, for a total authorization of $86,302; and, 3) Authorize the Mayor to execute the contract with Alta Planning and Design. 4. Status on the Proposal to Develop a Floor Area Ratio (FAR) for Residential (10 mins) Property (ZON2010-00332)/Citywide (Schonborn) Recommendation: Receive a status update on the Planning Commission’s discussion on developing a Floor Area Ratio (FAR) for residential property, and provide direction to Staff and the Planning Commission whether to continue with said FAR proposal. 5. Overview – Professional/Technical Services Agreement for Services Regarding (20 mins) the Information Technology System – Palos Verdes on the Net (McLean) Recommendation: 1) Receive and file; and, 2) Provide direction to Staff whether or not to establish and conduct a competitive process with other IT providers, for some, or all, of the information technology services currently provided by Palos Verdes on the Net in early 2013, after completion of the information technology upgrade that is currently in process. 6. Next Steps in Redevelopment Agency Dissolution – Mayor’s Appointments to (5 mins) Oversight Board (Downs) Recommendation: Appoint two members to the Oversight Board, so that the City’s interests and perspective will be represented at meetings of the Oversight Board.
