meeting having been recessed for the purpose of conducting the business of the
Redevelopment Agency.
Present: McTaggart, Byrd, Hollingsworth, Ferraro & Chair Lyon

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Member Byrd moved, seconded by Member Hollingsworth to approve the agenda as
presented. Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF CONSENT CALENDAR:
Kathy Snell, Vanderlip Lane, spoke to a variety of items: the 1984 Horan agreement;
the fact that her property had not moved; the amount of Horan funds spent on the
Portuguese Bend area versus the Abalone Cove area; why certain expenditures were
not paid for out of the Horan maintenance fund; and, why the Agency was paying for
rain gutters on a private residence in the slide area.
Lois Larue, spoke to the minutes of February 6 and the recordation of her remarks at
that meeting.
Executive Director Bussey reported that the installation of these gutters was a project
approved by the Board because it was felt that water could be redirected and not go
into the fissures. At the time of approval, several people delayed their installation.
The Board requested a separate report on this matter.
The Board also requested that the Register of Demands list the totals for vendors in the
same fashion that they are listed on the City's Register of Demands.

Audience Comments: Kathy Snell inquired why the Redevelopment Agency was not
paying for the water taken out of the Portuguese Bend area and suggested that the
Agency should also take the interest earned on the maintenance fund and pay for the
existing wells. She reported seeing a drilling rig in the area and inquired why that
equipment was there.
Lois Larue, submitted a prepared statement dated March 14, 1996 summarizing her
knowledge of the slide area. (Ms. Larue's statement is on file with the Agency
Secretary.)
Adjournment: At 9:20 P.M. the meeting adjourned to Saturday, March 16 at 9:00 A.M.
for a Redevelopment Agency Workshop to be held at Ladera Linda.
