REGULAR MEETING
JULY 1, 2008
The meeting was called to order at 11:59 P.M. by Chair Stern at Fred Hesse
Community Park, 29301 Hawthorne Boulevard.
Improvement Authority roll call was answered as follows:
PRESENT: Clark, Gardiner, Long, Wolowicz, and Chair Stern
ABSENT: None
Also present were Chief Administrative Officer Carolyn Lehr, Commission Attorney
Carol Lynch, Deputy Administrative Officer Carolynn Petru, Director of Planning,
Building and Code Enforcement Joel Rojas, Director of Public Works Jim Bell, Deputy
Director of Finance/IT Kathryn Downs, and Commission Secretary Carla Morreale.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Commissioner Wolowicz moved, seconded by Commissioner Long, to approve the
Agenda, as submitted. Without objection, Chair Stern so ordered.
APPROVAL OF CONSENT CALENDAR:
Commissioner Wolowicz moved, seconded by Commissioner Long, to approve the
Consent Calendar.
The motion carried as follows:

Received and filed the May 2008 Treasurer's Report for the Rancho Palos Verdes
Improvement Authority.
FY08-09 Improvement Authority Budget (2200)
ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. IA 2008-06, A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO
PALOS VERDES IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY, ADOPTING THE OPERATING
BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009.
Improvement Authority Investment Policy— FY08-09 (2200)
Adopted and filed the FYO8-09 investment policy for the Rancho Palos Verdes
Improvement Authority.
Register of Demands
ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. IA 2008-07, A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO
PALOS VERDES IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY, ALLOWING CERTAIN CLAIMS AND
DEMANDS AND SPECIFYING FUNDS FROM WHICH THE SAME ARE TO BE PAID.
