AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE EXISTING
MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN PERMITS AND MAPS AND
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 54 OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines
and ordains that the continuation of the moratorium upon building,
grading, sewer and other permits for new construction and the
processing or approval of tentative maps, final maps or parcel maps,
provided for by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 54 of the City of
Rancho Palos Verdes, as to that certain property and area herein-
after described, is not required in order to protect the public
peace, health, safety or welfare by reason of the nature, charac-
ter, condition and state of development thereof and the nature,
character, land use and condition of development of properties
adjacent thereto and immediately surrounding the same.
Section 2. Said Ordinance No. 54 is hereby amended
and the moratorium on building, grading, sewer and other permits
for new construction and the processing or approval of tentative
maps, final maps or parcel maps provided for in said Ordinance
No. 54 is hereby terminated as to that certain property and area
only within the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, State of California,
identified and described on Exhibit "A" hereto attached.
Section 3. That certain map adopted by and incorporated
by reference in said Ordinance No. 54 is hereby amended to delete
from the portion of the City outlined in red thereon the property
and area described herein.
Section 4. Except as hereinabove specifically provided,
said Ordinance No. 54 shall remain in full force and effect in
accordance with its terms, specifically including without limita-
tion the provision thereof prohibiting the issuance of building,
grading, sewer and other permits for new construction and the
processing or approval of tentative maps, final maps or parcel
maps.

That portion of Lot "H" of the Rancho Los Palos Verdes, in
the County of Los Angeles, State of California, allotted
to Jotham Bixby by decree of partition in the action "Bixby,
et al vs. Bent, et al, " Case No. 2373, in the District Court
of the 17th Judicial District of said State of California,
in and for said County of Los Angeles, and entered in Book 4,
Page 57 of Judgements, in the Superior Court of said County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Easterly line of Palos Verdes
Drive East, 50. 00 feet wide, as described in deed to said
County of Los Angeles , recorded in Book 6059, Page 178 of
Official Records in the office of the County Recorder of
said County, said point being the Southerly terminus of
a straight line therein, having a bearing of North 190
17' 25" East and a distance of 171. 20 feet; thence, along
said Easterly line, North 19° 17 ' 25" East 171. 20 feet
to the beginning of a tangent curve therein concave
Westerly and having a radius of 293. 84 feet; thence North-
erly along said curve 332 . 32 feet to the beginning of a
compound curve therein concave Southwesterly and having a
radius of 803. 01 feet; thence Northwesterly along said
last mentioned curve 345. 49 feet to the Westerly end there-

and having a radius of 602. 34 feet, a distance of 442 . 60
feet; thence leaving said Palos Verdes Drive East, South
39° 44' 55" East 715. 34 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Westerly and having a radius of 100. 00 feet;
thence Southerly along said last mentioned curve 145. 38
feet; thence South 430 32 ' 50" West 463. 57 feet; thence
South 78° 19 ' 45" West 573. 04 feet to the point of begin-
ning.
RESERVING therefrom easements for road purposes, public utili-
ties and bridle trails, together with the right to grant the
same to others and/or to itself dedicate or convey the same
to the public use, over, under and along the Northeasterly,
Easterly and Southeasterly 25. 00 feet thereof.
