ORD 033 ORDINANCE NO. 33
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE EXISTING
MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN PERMITS AND MAPS AND
AMENDING ORDINANCES NO. 16 AND 16U AS AMENDED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 29U OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and ordains
that the continuation of the moratorium upon building, grading, sewer and
other permits provided for by Section 3 of Ordinances No. 16 and 16U as
amended by Ordinance No. 29U of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, as to those
certain properties and areas hereinafter described, in view of the destruc-
tion by fire of the structures on said properties, and is not required in
order to protect the public peace, health, safety or welfare by reason of
the nature, character, condition and state of development thereof and the
nature, character, land use and condition of development of properties
adjacent thereto and immediately surrounding the same.
Section 2. Said Ordinances No. 16 and 16U as amended by Ordinance
No. 29U are hereby amended and the moratorium on building, grading, sewer and
other permits provided for in said Ordinances No. 16 and 16U: as amended by
Ordinance No. 29U is hereby terminated as to the properties and areas identified
as follows:
a. A parcel of approximately 6.9 acres commonly known as
20 Vanderlip Drive, legally described as set forth on Exhibit "A-1"
hereto attached and shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A-2" hereto
attached.
b. A parcel of approximately 3.9 acres commonly known as
8 Vanderlip Drive, legally described as set forth on Exhibit "B-1"
hereto attached and shown on the plat marked Exhibit "B-2" hereto
attached.
c. A parcel commonly known as 75 Narcissa, legally described
as set forth on Exhibit "C" hereto attached.
Section 3. That certain map adopted by and attached to said
Ordinances No. 16 and 16U is hereby amended to delete from the portion of
of the City outlined in red thereon the properties and areas described herein
and shown on Exhibits "A-1", "B-1" and "C" which are attached to this
ordinance.
Section 4. Except as hereinabove specifically provided, said
Ordinances No. 16 and 16U as amended by said Ordinance No. 29U shall remain
in full force and effect, specifically including without limitation the pro-
visions thereof prohibiting the issuance of building, grading, sewer and
other permits for new construction and the processing or approval of tentative
maps, final maps or parcel maps.

recorded in Book 306 Pages 34 and 35 of Maps, records of said County, to the Easterly
line of the land described as Parcel No. 1 in said deed to Filiorum Corporation,
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion thereof included within the lines of the above
described Parcel No. A-1. Provided however, that said easement described above in
this Parcel No. 2 is conveyed upon and subject to the following conditions and
restrictions which shall be binding upon grantees and all subsequent owners and/or
holders of the easement or any part thereof or interest therein granted hereunder:
(1) Said easement shall be appurtenant to (and only to) the real property described as
Parcel No. 1 as the same now exists and as the same may hereafter be divided, sub-
divided and/or sold for single family dwelling purposes; (2) No trees, shrubbery or
landscaping upon or adjoining the land over which said casement is granted shall be
injured, damaged or destroyed by the use of said easement; and (3) Grantor reserves.

by conveyance, signing of a subdivision map or record of survey or by any other means
a public road easement over the land or any portion thereof above described in this
Parcel and each holder (including all present and future holders) of the easement, or
of any portion thereof or any interest therein described in this Parcel No. 2 hereby,
by the acceptance of said easement, or any portion thereof or any interest therein,
consents to the recording or filing and to Lae use of a subdivision map or record of
survey covering or including a portion of all of said land above described in this
Parcel No. 2 as a road (whether thesame is set forth on said map or record of survey
as a public road, a public and future road, a private and future road, or is otherwise
set forth as a road) without the signature or approval of such holder or of any holder
of such easement or a portion thereof or an interest therein, as such holder thereon
or thereto, and waives any right to sign or approve or object as such holder to the uf,e
of any such map or record of survey, provided that: said grantor, or the successor to or
ass:Ign of Grantor's rftht and zulthority hereunder, siRm; such map or record of survey
and, if so siffied, such dedication by said Grantor or by rich successor or a!-;siyin
have the same force and effect as though joined in by any present or future holder oi
