Traverso, Vice President / Secretary / Treasurer AMG & Associates, Inc. 26535 Summit Circle Santa Clarita, California 91350 Dear Mr. Giacomazzi and Mr. Traverso, This letter shall serve as AMG & Associates, Inc.’s formal Waiver of Liability with regards to the resulting condition of existing fencing on the ocean-side of the Ladera Linda Community Park site. On December 6, 2022, the City Council directed City staff to make revisions to the Ladera Linda Community Park plans to lower the existing fence and trim the plantings along the entire ocean- facing side of the park to a height of 42 inches from the finished grade, per Change Order 24 (attached). The City hereby releases AMG & Associates, Inc. and their subcontractor, Ace Fence Company, from any liability associated with the condition of the existing fencing along the ocean-facing side of the park, that is a proximate result of performing work directed by the City to trim the existing fencing in place, knuckle the top edge of the fence material wherever possible, and install warning signage at locations specified by the City. The design and location of the warning signage will be provided to AMG & Associates, Inc. shortly.
