BACKGROUND
AND DISCUSSION:
The City's Gifts for Parks Program, established in 1982, provides a means by which
interested individuals, organizations, and/or businesses may contribute funds or
merchandise for the enhancement of the City's Recreation and Parks facilities and
programs. Donations, as prescribed by law, are tax deductible as charitable
contributions.
The City has received the following donations from July 1, 2017 through September 30,
2017:
Interpretive Center Amphitheatre Plaques ($1,500)
• Greg Stojakovich, in honor of his pet Twinkie
In -Kind Donations to the Point Vicente Interpretive Center
• Henry Koerper: Native American and Eskimo artifacts
• James Shneer: a book
• Yvetta Williams: two books
• Ann Zellers: a book
