BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:
The Civic Center Advisory Committee was formed on June 20, 2017. The new
Committee's seven -member board was appointed on August 15, 2017. An open
nomination period for Chair began August 16, 2017, and ended September 8, 2017.
Two Committee members expressed interest: Noel Park and Bill Gerstner.
Earlier this evening (September 19, 2017), the City Council interviewed the candidates
for Committee Chair. Staff has prepared and will distribute a ballot listing the two
candidates for the CCAC Chair at tonight's City Council meeting.
