BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:
At the May 2, 2017, City Council meeting the City Council voted unanimously to cancel
the July 18, 2017, meeting and hold a City Council meeting on July 5, 2017, to discuss
the City Council subcommittee goals for the Portuguese Bend Landslide. Since then,
the Portuguese Bend Land Flow Subcommittee has requested that their discussion item
currently scheduled for July 5 be moved to July 18. The subcommittee has meetings
scheduled beyond July 5 and the later meeting date of July 18 will give them an
opportunity to report to the full Council after the meetings have concluded.
