ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING/CLOSED SESSION
JULY 5, 2017
The meeting was called to order at 5:40 P.M. by Mayor Campbell at Fred Hesse
Community Park, 29301 Hawthorne Boulevard, notice having been given with affidavit
thereto on file.
City Council roll call was answered as follows:
PRESENT: Brooks, Duhovic (via teleconferencing), Dyda, Misetich, and Mayor
Campbell
ABSENT: None
Also present were Doug Willmore, City Manager; Dave Aleshire, City Attorney; Margaret
Rose; Associate City Attorney; Laura Walker, Associate City Attorney; Gabriella Yap,
Deputy City Manager; and Emily Colborn, City Clerk.
CLOSED SESSION ITEMS ANNOUNCED:
City Attorney Aleshire announced the items to be discussed in Closed Session.

Mayor Campbell left the Closed Session at 7:23 P.M.
Associate City Attorney Margaret Rose left the Closed Session at 7:23 P.M.
Associate City Attorney Laura Walker left the Closed Session at 7:23 P.M.
RECONVENE TO REGULAR SESSION:
The meeting was reconvened to Regular Session at 8:20 P.M.

Also present were Doug Willmore, City Manager; Gabriella Yap, Deputy City Manager;
and David Aleshire, City Attorney; Deborah Cullen, Director of Finance; Ara Mihranian,
Director of Community Development; So Kim, Deputy Director of Community
Development; Elena Gerli, Assistant City Attorney; and June Ailor, Assistant City
Attorney
CLOSED SESSION REPORT:
City Attorney Aleshire reported that with respect to the Landslide Moratorium a report
was given and direction obtained; with respect to the Mark Doddy matter, a report was
given and direction was given for future negotiations; and with respect to the Regional
Water Quality item, the matter was discussed and city attorney conflicts were waived;
and with respect to the California River Watch item, a report was given and direction
was given for further settlement negotiations
ADJOURNMENT:
At 8:21 P.M., Councilwoman Brooks adjourned to 6:00 P.M. on July 18, 2017, for
Closed Session meeting and a 7:00 P.M. Regular City Council meeting.
