RANCHO PALOS VERDES CITY COUNCIL
ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 4, 2017
The meeting was called to order at 6:51 P.M. by Mayor Pro Tem Duhovic in the Fireside
Room at Fred Hesse Community Park, 29301 Hawthorne Blvd., notice having been
given with affidavit thereto on file.
City Council roll call was answered as follows:
PRESENT: Brooks, Dyda, Misetich, and Mayor Pro Tem Duhovic
ABSENT: Mayor Campbell
Also present were Deputy City Manager Gabriella Yap; City Clerk Emily Colborn;
Deputy City Clerk Teresa Takaoka.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Mayor Pro Tem Duhovic moved, seconded by Councilman Dyda, to approve the
agenda as presented.
Without objection, Mayor Pro Tem Duhovic so ordered.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Noel Weiss, suggested that the applicants for the Emergency Preparedness Committee
be made aware of the issue relevant to the tanks in San Pedro/Wilmington that are next
to Rancho Palos Verdes that would be exposed and cause a threat to the City in the
event of an emergency.
REGULAR BUSINESS:
Interview Applicants for the Emergency Preparedness Committee
Council Members conducted interviews with the following applicants for the openings on
the Emergency Preparedness Committee: Marty Foster, Kate Flanagan, and Diana
Feinberg.
No action was taken.
