BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:
The City's Gifts for Parks Program, established in 1982, provides a means by which
interested individuals, organizations, and/or businesses may contribute funds or
merchandise for the enhancement of the City's Recreation and Parks facilities and
programs. Donations, are tax deductible as charitable contributions, as prescribed by
law.
The City has received the following donations from October 1, 2016, through December
