BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:
On December 12, 2016, recruitment began for two open seats on the City's Finance
Advisory Committee (FAC). The recruitment was advertised and posted according to
City Council Policy No. 6, with the recruitment period ending January 6, 2017. The City
received a total of three (3) applications from residents interested in serving on the FAC.
Earlier this evening (January 17, 2017), the City Council interviewed the candidates.
Staff has prepared and will distribute a ballot listing all candidates for the FAC at
tonight's City Council meeting.
