Request for consent to proposed modification of equipment
Dear Land Owner:
As you know, California Tower, Inc., a Delaware corporation (American Tower) is
involved with the day to day operations and management of Los Angeles SMSA Limited
Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless ("Verizon Wireless")'s communications tower located on
your property.
The purpose of this letter is to request your consent to a proposed change of mount height
information contained in a Site Designation Supplement between American Tower and Verizon
Wireless dated September 29, 2000, as amended ("Tower Agreement"). American Tower and
Verizon Wireless wish to correct the mount height information of one (1) 2' microwave dish
(Model#VHP2 180) and EW 180 transmission line from the recorded mount height of 55' to the
existing mount height of 61'.
Verizon Wireless will continue to be responsible for performance of all obligations under
its Building Lease Agreement with City of Rancho Palos Verdes ("City") dated February 16,
1988,as amended("Ground Lease"),while American Tower will continue to operate and manage
the tower.
Furthermore, and notwithstanding any revisions contained in any amendment to the
Tower Agreement, the City's consent to said revisions shall have no effect to nor shall these
revisions alter or extend the term of Conditional Use Permit No. 119 and subsequent revisions
(CUP 119). Additionally, the City's consent shall have no effect on expiration of the Ground
Lease.
Please acknowledge your approval to this installation by signing and dating the two (2)
enclosed originals as provided in the space below and returning one immediately. Please keep the
