PC RES 1989-051P.C. RESOLUTION NO. 89-51 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES APPROVING VARIANCE NO. 241 AT 29010 BAYEND. WHEREAS, Craig Maples has requested a Variance to allow an addition that encroaches 7 feet into the 10 foot street -side setback at 29010 Bayend as required by the City Development Code; and WHEREAS, after notice pursuant to the City's Development Code, a public hearing was held on September 12, 1989, at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the administrative error occurred in the issuance of building permits for the addition and said construction is not detrimental to the public welfare. Section 2: A Covenant to prohibit any further lot coverage shall be submitted and recorded prior to final building inspection. Section 3: A City Landscape Covenant to protect views has been recorded previously. Section 4: There shall be a maximum 18 inch trim on the portion of the addition to be allowed to project into the street - side setback. section 5: A landscape and fencing plan shall be submitted to the Director of Environmental Services and approved prior to final building inspection. Section 6:`For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby approves Variance No. 241. APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 12th day of September, 1989. Luella L.
