P.C . RESOLUTION NO . 89 - 42
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DETERMINING THAT THE
PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF A PUBLIC
RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT ALONG PALOS VERDES DRIVE
EAST AND MIRALESTE DRIVE IS NOT CONTRARY TO THE
GENERAL PLAN .
WHEREAS , on September 13 , 1988 , the Planning Commission
approved Conditional Use Permit No . 137 for a new fire station at
29516 Miraleste Drive ; and
WHEREAS , Condition of Approval No . 1 of P.C . Resolution No .
88-48 required the Fire Department to obtain a street easement
vacation from the City of Rancho Palos Verdes ; and
WHEREAS , on August 8 , 1989 , the Planning Commission
considered the request to vacate the easement .
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY, FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 : That the vacation of a portion of the public
right-of-way easement shown on Exhibit "A" along Palos Verdes
Drive East and Miraleste Plaza is not contrary to the provisions
of the General Plan.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED on August 8 , 1989 .
