P .C . RESOLUTION NO. 89-34
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DENYING TENTATIVE
PARCEL MAP NO . 21015 .
WHEREAS , the Planning Commission has reviewed this matter and
held a public hearing on June 13 , 1989 , at which time all
interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and to
present evidence .
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 : That the site is not physically suitable to
accommodate Tentative Parcel Map No . 21015 in terms of parking ,
traffic , and the density of development , and will result in
substantial environmental damage .
Section 2 : That the creation of two ( 2 ) single family lots
and potential improvements will be materially detrimental to
property value or jeopardize , endanger, or otherwise constitute a
menace to the public health, safety or general welfare of persons
or properties in the surrounding area since increased traffic and
parking problems will result and the newly created lots will
increase the density of development in the area.
Section 3 : The division and development of the property will
unreasonable interfere with the free and complete exercise of the
public right-of-way .
Section 4: For the foregoing reasons , the Planning Commission
of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes does hereby deny Tentative
Parcel Map No . 21015 .
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 13th day of June , 1989 .
