A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 59
REVISION "A" FOR A 225 SQUARE FOOT ADDITION
TO A RESIDENTIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT LOT AT
jO5' VIA DEL MAR.
WHEREAS , Peter and Barbara Shen have requested a revision to
Conditional Use Permit NO. 59 for Tract 37818 to construct a 225
square foot addition and reduce the private outdoor living space
available on the property ; and
WHEREAS , a hearing was held on November 22 , 1988 , at which time
all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and
to present evidence .
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 : That the proposed addition would not be visible from
the public right-of-way and would be integrated into the
architecture of the building.
Section 2 : That there is no other reasonable area on the
property in which to accommodate the proposed addition, due to the
small size of the RPD lot .
Section 3 : Record -a deed restrict ion °that any nf urther reduction in
thepUivate outdoor living space on this . lot : shall be prohibited .
Section 4 : For the foregoing reasons , the Planning Commission of
the City of Rancho Palos Verdes does hereby grant Conditional Use
Permit No . 59 Revision "A" at 7015 Via Del Mar.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 13th day of December, 1988 .
