RESOLUTION P.C. NO. 87-53
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES RECOM-
MENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTION OF SPECIFIC
PLAN IV AND ADOPTION OF THE FINAL NEGATIVE
DECLARATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT NO. 523 .
WHEREAS , the Planning Commission has held a public
hearing on this matter on June 23 , 1987 at which time all
interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and
present evidence .
NOW, THEREFORE , THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 : The Planning Commission has reviewed and
considered the initial study for Environmental Assessment No .
523 in reaching its decision to recommend approval of
Specific Plan IV. Further, the Planning Commission finds that
the approval of this plan will not result in any significant
adverse environmental impact; therefore a Final Negative
Declaration should be issued .
Section 2 : The Planning Commission finds that Specific
Plan IV is consistent with the General Plan.
Section 3 : The Planning Commission finds that this
Specific Plan is necessary to establish development standards
for this area along Western Avenue , 29019-29421 Western
Avenue .
Section 4 : For the foregoing reasons the Planning
Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby
recommends approval of a Final Negative Declaration and
Specific Plan IV.
PASSED , APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 8th Day of September,
1987 .
