PC RES 1987-051RESOLUTION P.C. NO. 87 - 51 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES APPROVING GRADING APPLICATION NO. 1039 AT 2040 CADDINGTON DRIVE. WHEREAS, Mr. Max A. Teel has requested a Grading Application to build a 5 foot side yard retaining wall and cut 18 cubic yards at 2040 Caddington Drive. WHEREAS, after notice pursuant to the City's Development Code, a hearing was held on September 8, 1987, at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the grading is not contrary to the intent of the Grading Section 17.050.070 of the City's Development Code since it does not cause any negative impacts on the public health, safety and general welfare. Section 2: That the granting of the Grading Application will not be contrary to the objectives of the General Plan, since the" grading and the retaining wall will be buffered and will not negatively impact the visual quality of the area. Section 3: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby approves Grading Permit No. 1039 subject to the attached conditions marked in Exhibit "A", which are necessary to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of the area.
