RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES APPROVING GRADING
APPLICATION NO. 971 AT 30691 CALLE DE SUENOS.
WHEREAS, Mr. Dwight Gilger has requested a Grading
Application to allow a new single family residence with grading
exceeding 1000 cubic yards at 30691 Calle De Suenos.
WHEREAS, after notice pursuant to the City's Development
Code, a hearing was held on August 25, 1987 at which time all
interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and
present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the proposed 6303 cubic yards of grading
(3683 cut, 2620 fill) is not contrary to the intent of the Grading
Section 17.50.070 of the City's Development Code since it does not
cause any negative impact on the public health, safety and
general welfare.
Section 2: That the granting of the Grading Application will
not be contrary to the objectives of the General Plan, since the
grading is only remedial for soil stabilization.
Section 3: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning
Commission oftheCity of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby approves
Grading Application No. 971.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 1987.
