A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES EXTENDING
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 97
WHEREAS, St. Pauls's Lutheran Church, located at 31290
Palos Verdes Drive West, has requested a one (1) year
extension of Conditional Use Permit No. 97; and
WHEREAS, CUP No. 97 was approved on June 11, 1985 to
allow an existing temporary building to remain on-site; and
WHEREAS, CUP No. 97 was due to expire on June 11, 1987;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning commission reviewed this request
at a public hearing held on June 9, 1987, at which time all
interested parties were invited to attend and give testimony.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS.
Section 1: That an extension of CUP No. 97 to allow the
existing temporary building to remain for one year (to
6/11/88) during the construction of the proposed, permanent
multi-purpose building is appropriate in that it will allow
the continuation of those activities currently held therein
until they can be relocated into said building addition.
Section 2: For the foregoing reason, the Planning
Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby grants a
one (1) year extension of CUP No. 97 for the existing
temporary building only, subject to the conditions contained
in Exhibit "A" of Resolution P.C. No. 85-11, made a part
hereof by reference.
