A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DISMISSING THE APPEAL OF HEIGHT
VARIATION NO. 445.FOR 2704 SAN RAMON DRIVE
WHEREAS, on September 9, 1986, the Planning Commission considered
the appeal of staff's decision on the appeal of Height Variation No. 445
at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard
and present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: A view impairment would be created by that portion of
the proposed project in conjunction with similar projects that could be potentially
constructed to the east of 2749 San Ramon Drive that would significantly impair the
primary view from the family room at 2749 San Ramon Drive.
Section 2: That the Planning Commission was unable to make the finding
as mandated by Section 17.02.040 f. of the Rancho Palos Verdes Development Code
that there is no significant cumulative impact caused by granting the application.
Section 3: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby dismisses the appeal, thereby denying the project
proposed in the Height Variation No. 445.
