A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DENYING VARIANCE 140. 118
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schlegel have requested a Variance
to allow an existing converted garage to remain at 26822 Fond du lac Drive,
Rancho Palos Verdes and;
WHEREAS, after notice pursuant to the City's Development Code, a
public heating was held on May 28, 1985, at which time all interested parties
were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That an administrative error did not occur in the
enforcement or ad—ministration of the Development Code since County and sub-
sequent City regulations require two garage spaces for any single family
residential use, and the conversion of the garage at the subject property
precludes its use for automobile storage.
Section 2: For the foregoing reason, the Planning Commission of
the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby denies approval of Variance No. 118.
