PC RES 1984-016 411/1 RESOLUTION P.C. NO. 84-16 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO CONDITION NO. 3, OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 24, TRACT NO. 33034 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Steinbach have requested an amendment to condition no. 3 of Conditional Use Permit 24, Tract No. 33034, to construct a house which would exceed the 564 foot maximum ridgeline; and WHEREAS, after notice issued pursuant to the provisions of the City's Development Code a public hearing was held on May 8, 1984, at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the proposed amendment will not impose any significant view impairment upon neighboring properties. Section 2: For the foregoing reason the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby grants an amendment to condition no. 3 of Conditional Use Permit 24, Tract No. 33034 allowing a structure on Lot 2 to exceed the 564 foot maximum ridgeline by no more than four (4) feet (Condition marked Exhibit :A: , attached hereto) . Hightower Director of Environmenta- Services and Secretary to Commission EXHIBIT "A" Revision to Conditional Use Permit 24, Tract No. 33034, is approved subject to the following condition: 1. Condition No. 3, Exhibit A", Resolution 77-14 is amended to read as follows: The ridgelines of all future structures of Lots 1 and 3 shall not exceed an elevation of 564 feet above sea-level and of Lot 2 shall not exceed an elevation of 568 feet above sea-level. On the remaining lots no structure shall exceed sixteen (16) feet in height as defined in Section 9113 B (method of measuring height) of the City's Development Code. A height variation may be granted on an individual basis if it can be found that said structure is consistent with Section 9113 (height variation) of the Code.
