Section 2: The Planning Commission has reviewed the adjacent land uses, densities and the potential impacts on the area and has found that the existing Institutional designation is incomputable with the existing land uses since the School District has declared this property surplus and that it is no longer necessary for the location of an elementary school, and that a General Plan Amendment is appropriate to amend the land use designation from Institutional to Residential -1 dwelling unit per acre. Section 3: The Planning Commission finds that the zone change is consistent with General Plan Amendment No. 11. Section 4: The Planning Commission finds that the Coastal Specific Plan Amendment No. 2 is consistent with General Plan Amendment No. 11 and Zone Change No. 10. Section 5: The Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby recommends to the City Council approval of General Plan Amendment No. 11, Zone Change No. 10 and Coastal Specific Plan Amendment No. 2. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 27th day of July 1982. Douglas M. HiAhliffe, I)f Sharon W. Hightower Director of Planning and Secretary to the Commission
