A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES RECOMMENDING TO THE
CITY COUNCIL ZONE CHANGE NO. 6
WHEREAS, the City has initiated Zone Change No. 6; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on this
matter on July 22, 1980 at which time all interested parties were given an
opportunity to be heard and present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES DOES HEREBY RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the
Initial Study for Environmental Assessment No. 383 in reaching its decision
to recommend approval of said Zone Change. Further the Planning Commission
finds that the approval of this Zone Change will not result in significant
adverse environmental impact to the City.
Section 2: The Planning Commission finds that the proposed Zone
Change is consistent with the General Plan (Amendment No. 6).
Section 3: The Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes hereby recommends approval on Zone Change No. 6, which amends the
zoning designation at 980 Silver Spur Road from Commercial Professional
(CP) to Commercial Neighborhood (CN) and removes the Natural Overlay Con-
trol District and retains the Urban Overlay Control District.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 22nd day of July , 1980.
