PC RES 1980-007RESOLUTION P.C. NO. 80-7 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DENYING VARIANCE NO. 47 WHEREAS, Variance No. 47 has been filed which requests that fence heights within the front yard setback exceed allowable heights; and WHEREAS, the residence is located at 12 Sweetbay, which is in an RS -2 zoning district; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed this matter at a public hear- ing held on April 22, 1980, at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That this variance is not necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right of the applicant which is pos- sessed by other property owners under like conditions in the same zoning district. The outdoor living area is substantial and conformance to the front yard setback will allow for adequate remaining private outdoor recreation. Section 2: For the foregoing reason, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby denies Variance No. 47, and requires re- moval of relocation of the fence.
