A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 16 AND RECOM-
MENDING DENIAL OF TENTATIVE TRACT NO. 32744
WHEREAS, Porto Verde Associates applied for Conditional Use Permit No. 16
and Tentative Tract No. 32744 for conversion of apartments to condominiums on June
16, 1976; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held public hearings on this matter on July
27, 1976, August 10, 1976, September 14, 1976, October 26, 1976, February 22, 1977,
April 12, 1977, and June 28, 1977, at which times all interested parties were given
an opportunity to be heard and present evidence; and
WHEREAS, at the August 23, 1977, meeting the applicant was requested to submit
clarifying information and has not yet done so; and
WHEREAS, the applicant requested an indefinite continuance of the matter; and
WHEREAS, the provisions of State law require the City to make a decision on
this matter prior to December 31, 1978, or give a 90 -day time extension; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has denied such time extension, based on in-
sufficient reasons given by the applicant.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
DOES HEREBY FIND AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby
denies Conditional Use Permit No. 16 and recommends denial of Tentative Tract No.
32744, without prejudice, due to lack of requested information within the time
limitations of State requirements.
