NOW, THEREFORE, the Local A gency Formation Commission of the County
of Los Angeles DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1. The Commission finds that the subject proposal will not have
a significant adverse effect on the environment as indicated in the negative
declaration and initial study prepared for the proposal, and approves said negative
declaration. The Commission further finds that:
(a) The affected area is substantially developed so that no further
significant development can occur in the area. -
(b) There will be no significant changes in the existing land uses
and zoning in the affected area because the area is substantially developed d with.
existing uses.
(c) There will be no significant changes in the police and fire services
provides to the affected area because the existing services will be continued and
sufficient police and fire stations, and other facilities, already exist.
(d) There will be no changes in the utilit y services provided to the
affected area because the existing services will be continued and all necessary
facilities have already been installed. . .
(e) Since the affected area is fully developed with existin g streets,
it is not deemed feasible to construct new streets and no changes in traffic patterns
will result. .
SECTION 2. Subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter specified, said
resolution is approved.
SECTION 3. The boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed, as
modified and approved by this Commission, are set forth in Exhibit "A," attache
d
hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. The'Commission finds that
a

SECTION 4. Any resolution ordering such annexation shall provide that such
annexation shall be made subject to the following specified terms and conditions:

SECTION 5. The City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes is hereby
directed to initiate annexation proceedings in compliance with this resolution, no
later than 35 days from the date of this resolution.
SECTION 6. The Executive Officer is authorized and directed to mail
certified copies of this resolution in the manner and as provided in'Section 35159 of
the Government Code.
