ORD 528 ORDINANCE NO. 528
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES ACCEPTING THE CITY'S DIGITIZED UPDATED
ZONING MAP AS THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP FOR THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES.
WHEREAS, the City's official Zoning Map was adopted by the City Council in
1975; and,
WHEREAS, since 1978, twenty-three Zone Changes have been adopted by the
City Council; and,
WHEREAS, City Staff has incorporated all the past adopted Zone Changes onto
an updated digitized Zoning Map; and,
WHEREAS, all previously adopted Zone Changes were heard and approved
during a public hearing by the City Council, and thus no notice of a public hearing is
necessary for the adoption of an updated digitized Zoning Map; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: This ordinance makes the change from the paper map to a digital
version with inclusion of all previously adopted Zone Changes as listed:
• Zone Change No. 2 effective on 2/3/1978
• Zone Change No. 3 effective on 12/7/1978
• Zone Change No. 4 effective on 5/3/1979
• Zone Change No. 5 effective on 1/4/1980
• Zone Change No. 6 effective on 10/2/1980
• Zone Change No. 9 effective on 5/20/1982
• Zone Change No. 10 effective on 10/21/1982
• Zone Change No. 12 effective on 7/17/1986
• Zone Change No. 13 effective on 10/16/1984
• Zone Change No. 15 effective on 10/20/1988
• Zone Change No. 23 effective on 12/29/1994
• Zone Change No. 25 effective on 5/1/1997
• Zone Change No. 26 effective on 4/16/1998
• Zone Change No. 29 effective on 11/2/2000

foregoing Ordinance No. 528 passed first reading on October 18, 2011, was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting thereof held on
November 1, 2011, and that the same was passed and adopted by the following roll call
