AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
II RELATING TO THE TERMS OF PLANNING COMMISSION
MEMBERS AND AMENDING CHAPTER 2 .20,
SECTION NOS. 2.20.020 AND 2.20. 040 OF THE RANCHO PALOS VERDES
MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Sections 2 .20. 020 (Members) and 2 .20. 040
(Regular Meetings) of Chapter 2 .20, Title 2, are amended to read:
2.20.020. Members. The Planning Commission shall
consist of seven members who shall be appointed by the City Council
and who shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
The term of the office for each commissioner is two years.
The terms of office shall expire on the date of the first regular
City Council meeting in December of odd years, or until a successor
is appointed.
2.20.040 Regular Meetings. Regular meetings of the
planning commission shall be held at the hour of seven o'clock
p.m. , on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each calendar month,
provided, however, that if the regular meeting date falls upon a
holiday, said meeting shall be held on the next succeeding day
which is not a holiday.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause thie ordinance to be published or
posted as required by law.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th day of January, 1992 .
