ORD 182 ORDINANCE NO. 182
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DECLARING THE NEED FOR
A REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO FUNCTION
IN THE CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The City Council hereby declares
that there is need for a redevelopment agency to function
in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes.
Section 2. The City Council hereby declares itself
to be the redevelopment agency. The City Council hereby finds
that such action will serve the public interest and promote
the public safety in an effective manner.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause a certified copy of this Ordinance to be
filed in the office of the Secretary of State.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 19th day of
June, 1984.
