AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
REQUESTING THE INCLUSION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY
IN THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY CONSOLIDATED FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Pursuant to Section 13948 of the California Health &
Safety Code, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes requests that the property described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by this reference and shown on
the map attached as Exhibit "B" be included within the consolidated Fire Protec-
tion District of Los Angeles County. Said property is the only property within
the City of Rancho Palos Verdes not currently included within said District.
Section 2: A copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the
Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors as the governing board of Los Angeles
County Consolidated Fire Protection District for approval of said inclusion.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 6th Day of June, 1984.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City
is five; that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 180, passed first
reading on May 15, 1984 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of
said City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of June, 1984 and
that the same was passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
AYES: HINCHLIFFE, McTAGGART, HUGHES, RYAN & MAYOR BACHARACH
NOES: NONE

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, in the County of
.Los Angeles, State of California, located in the Pacific Ocean,
II/ wore particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the mean high tide line of the
Pacific Ocean, as it existed at the time the land easterly of
this point was annexed to the Consolidated Fire Protection
District of Los Angeles County, said point being also a point on
the existing boundary of the Consolidated Fire Protection
District of Los Angeles County, and the northerly city limit line
of the said City of Rancho Palos Verdes; thence westerly in the
Pacific Ocean along the said northerly city limit line to a point
of intersection with the three mile limit line as it existed on
September 7, 1973; thence southerly, easterly and southeasterly,
in the Pacific Ocean, along the various curves and courses of the
said three mile limit line, as it existed on September 7, 1973,
said three mile limit line being also the city limit line of the
said City of Rancho Palos Verdes, to a point of intersection with
the southeasterly city limit line of the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes; thence northeasterly in the Pacific Ocean along said
southeasterly city limit line to a point of intersection with the
mean high tide line of the Pacific Ocean, as said high tide line
existed at the time the land northeasterly of this point was
annexed to the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los
Angeles County, said point being also a point on the existing
boundary of the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los
Angeles County; thence northwesterly, westerly and northerly,
along the various curves and courses of the said high tide line,
as it existed on the various dates the land easterly,
northeasterly and northerly of said high tide line was annexed to
the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County,
to the Point of Beginning.
