ORD 156 ORDINANCE NO. 156
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES RELATING TO THE
POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE CITY MANAGER AND AMENDING THE RANCHO
PALOS VERDES MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Subsection C of Section 2.08.070, Chapter 2.08, Title 2 of
the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code is amended to read:
2.08.070. Powers and Duties

C. Power of Appointment and Removal. To appoint, remove, promote
and demote any and all officers and employees of the City, except
the City Attorney, subject to all applicable personnel ordinances,
rules and regulations;
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 1982 by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: HEIN, RYAN, SHAW, DYDA, AND MAYOR BACHARACH
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
