AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES ADOPTING BY REFERENCE PURSUANT TO
SECTION 50022 . 2 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE, THE
FIRE CODE OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES , BEING
ORDINANCE NO. 2947 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO.
11, 556 ADOPTING WITH AMENDMENTS THE UNIFORM
FIRE CODE OF THE WESTERN FIRE CHIEFS ASSOCI-
ATION AND THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF
BUILDING OFFICIALS AND AMENDING THE RANCHO
PALOS VERDES MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Section 3100 of Chapter 1, Article III
of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code is amended to read:
3100. Fire Code. The Fire Code of the County of
Los Angeles, being Ordinance No. 2947 of the County of Los Angeles
as amended by Ordinance No. 11, 556 of the County of Los Angeles,
adopting by reference the "Uniform Fire Code" 1976 edition, pre-
pared by the International Conference of Building Officials and
the Western Fire Chief' s Association, excluding appendices A
through H to said Uniform. Fire Code as amended and in effect on
August 28, 1977, is hereby adopted as the Fire Code of the City
of Rancho Palos Verdes .
Three (3) copies of said Ordinance No. 2947 of the
County of Los Angeles, California, as so amended, have been
deposited with the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Rancho Palos Verdes and shall at all times be maintained by
said Clerk for use and examination by the public.

1978 , by the following votes :
