ORD 093 ORDINANCE NO. 93
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
APPROVING ZONE CHANGE-NO. 2
WHEREAS, the City has initiated Zone Change No. 2; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing on this matter on
November 22, 1977, at which time all interested parties were given an oppor-
tunity to be heard and present evidence; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has also reviewed this matter on
November 22, 1977, and has recommended approval in Resolution No. 77-23 (P.C.) ;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council has reviewed and considered final Environmental
Impact Report No. 6 in reaching its decision to approve said zone change. Further,
the City Council finds that the approval of this zone change will not result in
significant adverse environmental impact to the area.
Section 2: The City Council has reviewed adjacent land uses and zoning and
has found that the zone change is compatible with uses in the immediate area.
Section 3: The City Council finds that the proposed zone change is consistent
with the General Plan (Amendment No. 2) .
Section 4: The City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby approves
Zone Change No. 2, and amends the Official Zoning Map on Lots 1, 2, 3, 16, and 17
of Tract 28750, to Residential Multiple Family Six Units Per Acre (RM-6) .
Section 5: The City Council hereby directs the City Clerk to cause said changes
to be made to the Official Zoning Map.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 1978, by the
following votes:
