AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE EXISTING
MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN PERMITS AND MAPS AND
AMENDING ORDINANCES NOS . 54 AND 54U OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines
and ordains that the continuation of the moratorium upon building,
grading, sewer and other permits for new construction and the
processing or approval of tentative maps, final maps or arcel maps,

provided for by Section 2 of Ordinances Nos . 54 and 54U of the
City of Rancho Palos Verdes , as to that certain property ert and area

hereinafter described, is not required in order to protect the
public peace, health, safety or we _fare by reason of the nature,
character, condition and state of development thereof and
p the
nature, character, land use and condition of development of pro--
perties adjacent thereto and immediately surrounding the same.

Section 2. Said Ordinances Nos . 54 and 54U are hereby
amended and the moratorium on building, grading, sewer and other
permits for new construction and the processing approval a roval of
tentative maps, final maps or parcel maps provided for in said
Ordinances Nos . 54 and 54U is hereby terminated as to the property
and area within the City of Rancho Palos Verdes , State of California,
identified as follows
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Tract No. 30583, recorded in Book
813,
Pages 32, 33 and 34, Records of Los Angeles County, State of
California, and a 20 foot strip of land lying adjacent to said Lot.
4, as shown on a Map on file in the Office of the Director of
Planning marked "Exemption to Moratorium, Ord. No. 57 " and
is incorporated herein by reference,
for the purpose of processing and acting upon a tentative or final
map or maps.
Section 3. That certain map adopted by and incorporated
by reference in said Ordinances Nos . 54 and 54U is hereby amended
to delete from the portion of the City outlined in red thereon the
property and area described herein.
Section 4. Except as hereinabove specifically provided,
said Ordinances Nos . 54 and 54U shall remain in full force and effect f
in accordance with their terms, specifically including without
limitation the,provision thereof prohibiting the issuance of
building, grading, sewer and other permits for new construction and
the processing or approval of tentative maps, final maps or .P arcel
maps.
