ORD 075 ORDINANCE NO. 75
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES, CALIFORNIA AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO
NON-CONFORMING USES AND AMENDING
THE RANCHO. PALOS VERDES. MUNICIPAL
CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF RANCHO. PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.. The. Rancho. Palos Verdes Municipal Code is
amended by. adding Section 9105 to. Chapter 1 of Article IX to
read:
"9105. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section
9100, said Zoning Ordinance is amended by amending Section
509.2 (g) thereof to. read:
' (g) Repair of Damaged or Partially Destroyed
Non-conforming Buildings or Structures.
Any nonconforming building or structure or any
building or structure containing a nonconforming use which
is damaged or partially destroyed may be restored to the
condition in which it was immediately prior to the occurrence
of such damage or destruction, provided:
(1) That all such reconstruction shall be
started within one (1) year from the date of damage and
be pursued diligently to completion; and
(2) That reconstruction shall not extend the
termination date of such nonconforming building or structure
specified in this Chapter. ' "
