ORDINANCE. NO. 72
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES., CALIFORNIA., ADOPTING BY REFERENCE.
PURSUANT. TO. SECTION .50022.2 OF THE. GOVERN.
MENT. CODE ORDINANCE. NO. 4478 OF THE. COUNTY.
OF LOS ANGELES. KNOWN. AS THE. SUBDIVISION
ORDINANCE, REPEALING CERTAIN PROVISIONS
THEREOF AND. AMENDING THE RANCHO. PALOS VERDES
MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 2 of Article IX of the Rancho
Palos Verdes Municipal Code is amended to read:
"9200. Adoption of Subdivision Ordinance. The Los
Angeles County Subdivision Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 4478
of Los Angeles County as amended and in effect on July 1, 1975,
is hereby adopted by reference and may be referred to as the
Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes.
Three (3) copies of the Subdivision Ordinance of
the County of Los Angeles, being Ordinance No. 4478 as amended,
are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Rancho Palos Verdes and shall be at all times maintained by
said City Clerk for use and examination of the public.
"9201. Amendment to Subdivision Ordinance. Notwith-
standing the provisions of Section 9200, the Subdivision
Ordinance is amended by repealing Sections 71.3, 71. 4, 179, 180
and 181.
"9202 . Parcel Maps--Governmental Entities. A parcel
map shall not be required for subdivisions as to which a final
or parcel map is not otherwise required by this Chapter for
transfers made between governmental agencies if the legislative
body finds the proposed division of land is in compliance with
the requirements as to area, improvement and design, flood water
drainage control, appropriate improved public roads, sanitary
disposal facilities, water supply availability, environmental
protection and other requirements of this Chapter and State law. "
