ORDINANCE. NO. 64
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES,
CALIFORNIA, WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF PREPARATION
OF A PARCEL MAP WHERE A TRANSFER IS BEING MADE
BETWEEN GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES, AND AMENDING THE
RANCHO PALOS VERDES MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section
9200 of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code, said Code is
amended by adding Section 9201 to Chapter 2, Article IX, to read
as follows:
"Section 9201. Parcel Maps--Governmental Entities.
A parcel map shall not be required for subdivisions
as to which a final or parcel map is not otherwise required
by this Chapter for transfers made between governmental
agencies if the legislative body finds the proposed divi-
sion of land is in compliance with the requirements as to
area, improvement and design, flood water drainage control,
appropriate improved public roads, sanitary disposal fa-
cilities, water supply availability, environmental protection
and other requirements of this Chapter and State law. "
