ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1The Cit^ Council. hereby finds
determines and ordains that she continuation of the moratorium
upon bullding, grading, sewer and other permits for new
construction and the processing or approval of tentative maps ,
nal maps or parcel maps , provided for by Section 3 of
Ordinances Nos . 16 and 1.6U as amended by ordinance No. 29U of
the City of Rancho Palos Verdes , as to that certain property an'.1
area outlined in blue on the i�ap hereto attached as Exhibit "A"
and made a part hereof is not required in order to protect
the public peace, health, safety or welfare by reason of the
nature, character and condition of such property and area and
the nature, charac ter, land use and condition of development of
properties adjacent thereto and immediately surrounding the
same.
Section 2. Said ordinances Nos , 16 and 16U as
amended by Ordinance No. 291) are hereby amended and the morator-
ium on building, grading, sewer and other permits for new
const ruction and the processing or appro - -l. of tentative maps ,
final maps . or parcel maps provided for in said Ordinances Nos ,
16 and 16U as amended by Ordinance No. 29U is hereby terminated
as to that certain property and area only which is ident,4-fied as
that area of land bounded by Via Campes ina on the north,
Grandview Tract No. 21169 on the soutlL, the eastern boundary? of
Lot 144 and the westerly boundary of Parcel Map No. 656 on the
,.,est and the City boundary on the east, as delineated in blue and
set forth on the map hereto attached as Exhibit "A" .
Section 3. That certain map adopted by and
attached to said Ordinances Nos . 16 and 1.6U is hereby amended
to delete from the portion of the City outlined in red thereon
the property and area outlined blue on Exhzb .t "A" attached
to this ordinance,
Section 4. Except as hereinabove s ecifi.call r

provided, said Ordinances Nos . 16 and 16U as amended by said
Ordinance No. 29U shall remain in full force and effect
specifically including without limitation the provisions thereof
prohibiting the issuance of building, grading, sewer and other
permits for new construction and the processing or approval of
tentative maps , final maps or parcel maps
