AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERr"Y FROM
THE EXISTING MOWiTORIUM ON CERTAIN PERMITS
AND MAWS AND AMENDING ORDINANCES NOS . 16
AND 16U AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO, 29U OF
THE CITY OF RANCHOPALOS NRDES
'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds,
determines and ordains that the continuation of the moratorium
upon building, grading, sewer and other_ permits for new
construction and the processing or approval of tentative maps
final maps or parcel maps , provided for by Section 3 of
Ordinances Nos 16 and 16U as amended by Ordinance No, 29U of
the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, as to that certain property and
area -outlined in blue on the neap hereto attached as Exhibit "A"
and made a part hereof is not required in order to protect
the public peace, health, safety or welfare by reason of the
nature, character and condition of such property and area and
the nature, character, land use and condition of development of
properties adjacent thereto and immediately surrounding the
same.
Section 2. Said Ordinances Nos. 16 and 16U as
amended by Ordinance No. 29U are hereby amended and the morator-
ium on building, grading, sewer and other permits for new
construction and the processing or approval of tentative maps,
final maps or parcel maps provided for in said Ordinances Nos ,,
16 and 16U as amended by Ordinance No. 29U is hereby terminated
as to that certain property and area only which is identified as
a portion of Tract No. 4649 and del A- at2d i.i4 �i31ue and met
forth on the map hereto attached, as Exhib i t "A".
Section 3. That certain map adopted by and
attached to said Ordinances Nos . 16 and 16U is :hereby amended
to delete from the portion of the City outlined in red thereon
the property and area outlined in blue on Exhibit "A" attached
to this ordinance,
Section 4. Except as hereinabove specifically
provided, said Ordinances Nos . 16 and 16U, as `amended by said
Ordinance No. 29U shall remain in full force and effect.,
specifically including without limitation the provisions thereof
prohibiting the issuance of building, grading, sewer and other
permits for new construction and the processing or approval of
tentative maps, f*nal maps or parcel maps.
