AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE EXISTING
MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN PERMITS AND MAPS AND
AMENDING ORDINANCES NOS 16 AND 16U AS AMENDED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 29U OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES }-
THE C I TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines

and ordains that the continuation of the moratorium upon build

the :rocessin or approval of tentative maps , final maps or

parcel maps , provided for by Section 3 of Ordinances Nos . 16
and 16U as amended by Ordinance No. 29U of the City of Rancho
Palos Verdes, as to that certain property and area hereinafter fi
described, is not required in order to protect the public
peace, health, safety or welfare by reason of the nature,
character and condition thereof and the nature, character, t
land use and condition of development of properties adjacent
thereto and immediately surrounding the same.
section 2. Said Ordinances Nos . 16 and 16U as amended
by Ordinance No 29U are hereby amended and the moratorium
on building, grading, sewer and other permits for new
construction and the processing or approval of tentative maps,
maps final ` or parcel maps provided for in said Ordinances Nos .

as to the property and area identified as follows :
51,That portion of Lot 52 of L,A.C.A. No. 51 as

map recorded in Book 1, 1 of Assessor's Maps , in

the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
described as follows :
at a point P nt in the Northerly line of
Crestridge Road (80 feet wide) as described in a Deed
to said County of Los Angeles, recorded as Document No.
3176 on November 20, 1967 , in Book D-3835, Page 627 of
Official Records in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, distant thereon Easterly 29.17 feet
from the Westerly end of a curve therein that is
concave Northerly and has a radius of 2460 feet;
thence Westerly along said curve an arc distance of
29 .17 feet to said Westerly end; thence con_ tinuing

Section 3. That certain map adopted by and attached
to said Ordinances Nos . 16 and 16U is hereby amended to delete
from the portion of the City outlined in red thereon the prop-
- erty and area described herein.
Section 4. Except as hereinabove specifically pro-
vided, said Ordinances Nos. 16 and l6U as amended by said Ordi-
nance No. 29U shall remain in full force and effect, specifi-
cally including without limitation the provisions thereof pro-
hibiting the issuance of building, grading, sewer and other
permits for new construction and the processing or app roava l
of tentative maps, final maps or parcel maps .
