CC RES 1980-011 RESOLUTION NO. 80-11
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES APPROVING FEDERAL AID SAFETY
FUNDS FOR PAVEMENT MARKERS ON PALOS VERDES DRIVE
EAST.
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes and the State of California
entered into a Master Agreement for Federal Aid Safety Improvement Program on
December 6, 1977; and
WHEREAS, Funds have been allocated for certain safety improvements in
the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, specifically installation of pavement mark-
ers on Palos Verdes Drive East, and related engineering; and
WHEREAS, Said Master Agreement and the Federal Highway Safety Act pro-
vide for adoption of a specific improvement "program" by amendment to the
Master Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes re-
solves that:
1. Supplement No. 3 to Local Agency-State Agreement No.07-5413 is here-
by adopted and the Mayor is authorized to execute Said Agreement.
2. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this Reso-
lution and signed copies of the supplemental Agreement to the District Director,
California Department of Transportation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1980.
