A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES ESTABLISHING STOP REGULATIONS
ON MOUNT ROSE DRIVE AT BLOOMWOOD ROAD, AND THE
INTERSECTION OF BLOOMWOOD ROAD AND MOUNT HOOD
ROAD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES
HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The action taken by the City Council on January 15, 1996 regarding
stop regulations on Bloomwood Road is hereby rescinded.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 10.04.010 of the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes' Municipal Code, the City Council hereby finds that the public health, safety, and
welfare will be best protected by establishing stop regulations at the following locations:
1) The Bloomwood Road /Mount Hood Drive intersection, 3 signs.
2) Mount Rose Drive at Bloomwood Road, 1 sign.
Section 3. This resolution shall not become effective until the "stop" signs
have been posted as required in Section 2 of this resolution.
Section 4. The City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes does hereby
establish and declare the locations mentioned in the above Section 2 as "stop" intersections
and does hereby authorize and direct the City Manager to cause signs to be erected
indicating where stopping is to be required.
