A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES,
AMENDING RESOLUTION 2005 -53, THE BUDGET APPROPRIATION FOR FISCAL YEAR
2005 -06, FOR A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO THE CITY'S EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT —
VEHICLES FUND.
WHEREAS, Section 3.32 of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code provides that all
expenditures in excess of budgeted allocations must be by supplemental appropriation of the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, on May 31, 2005, the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes adopted
Resolution 2005 -53, approving a spending plan and authorizing a budget appropriation for the
2005 -06 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to transfer AQMD funds to purchase a vehicle for the
Planning Department; and
WHEREAS, a budget transfer of AQMD funds to the Equipment Replacement - Vehicles fund is
necessary to replace general funds for the purchase of a Planning Department vehicle;
BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES:
The following adjustments be made:
Transit Program 214- 3014- 491 -91 -00 Transfer out -AQMD funds $20,000
Equipment Replacement -
Vehicles 681- 3081 - 391 -10 -00 Transfer in -AQMD funds $20,000
